Common Pyrgomorph - Monistria discrepans

This page contains pictures and information about Common Pyrgomorph that we found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.
 
Body length 30mm  
This Pyrgomorph is a short-winged adult, although long-wings form can sometimes be found. Pictures taken near Buhot Creek on Daisy Hills on Apr 2011.

From the reference their habitats are dry area include the dry sclerophyll forest. They feed on leaves of board range of plants.
 
This species can be found in south-east and southern area of Australia. Individual in different area colours are a bit different.
