Family Cicadellidae, Eurymelinae, Eurymelini
- This page contains pictures and information about Pulchra Gum-treehoppers
that we found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.
-
- Body length 8mm
-
-
-
- Pictures were taken in Karawatha Forest on Jun 2007. We found them once on a
smooth bark gumtree trunk. There were a few of them there.
-
-
-
- This species also have the orange eyes and powder green abdomen.
-
- We listed three Eurymeloides species in this Gum-treehopper
page. However, they look very similar and we may have mixed up their
pictures in the following web pages.
- Reference:
- 1. Species
Eurymeloides pulchra (Signoret, 1850) -
Australian Faunal Directory, Australian Biological Resources Study.
- 2. Insects of Australia and New Zealand - R. J. Tillyard, Angus &
Robertson, Ltd, Sydney, 1926, p164.
