Family Cixiidae, tribe Cajetini

- Body length 10mm

- This Cixiid Planthopper is brown in colour. Its wings are
transparent with veins in dark brown. Its pronotum expanded laterally, with
circular area on each side inflated.

- Pictures were taken in Karawatha Forest on Sep 2007. The
Planthopper was struggling on a spider web on gum tree trunk. A Diamond
Comb-Footed
Spider
was coming towards it.
