Family Myrmeleontidae

we found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.

- Body
length 40mm

- This lacewing adult has the slender body and narrow
mottled wings. Its black antennae are long, segmented and with slight clubbed
pale apex. .

- This
lacewing adult was found in Karawatha Forest. It mimicked part of the dry stem. It did
not move a bit even when we came very close.
