This robber fly like to rest on bare soil, rock surface and sometimes found resting on termite mount. 

 

 

Female                                                                  

 

They are reddish dark grey to black in colour with wings tinted with dark reddish-brown. Their eyes are also dark reddish brown. Legs are all black.
