Family ICHNEUMONIDAE
This page contains pictures and information about White-tailed Orange Wasps
that
we found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.

- Body length 15mm
-
- This wasp is pale orange-brown in colour with last two abdomen segments in
black. There is the white spot at the end tip. The body is slender
parallel-sided with all segment fairly evenly broadened.
-

-
- From the reference information there is only only one Ischnojoppa sp.,
i.e. I. luteator in Australia and the head is orange in colour,
otherwise they look the same. This wasp could be a new Ischnojoppa
species.

-
- Please check the Ichneumon Wasps page for
