Family ICHNEUMONIDAE

- Body length 20mm, female

- This wasp look almost the same as the Banded Pupa parasite
Wasp I but with longer legs and very long ovipositor.

- We took those picture in Yugarapul
Park and Karawatha Forest in early summer. Female wasps were searching for
mature caterpillars and pupae in plants, litter or soil.

- Found the above pair of wasps when they were hunting in Ford Road Research Area on Apr
2008. Photos were taken when they were inspecting the rails of a wooden
bridge.
