found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia. In some reference, this
spider is known as Bavia ludicra.
- Body length 12mm

- This is a large jumping spider. We sometimes found them hunting on leaves
and stems of young Eucalyptus tree.

- The spider is brown in colour, with thorax and all legs in dark brown,
dark brown pattern on abdomen. The males of this species look quite
different. We did not find any male yet.

- Above picture was taken in Karawatha Forest during early winter.

- This jumping spider build retreat and eggs sac on single green
leave.

- This spider hunt on leaves as well as tree trunks.
