Black-banded Signal Fly - Euprosopia tenuicornis

This page contains pictures and information about Black-banded Signal Flies that we found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.
 
Male, body length 10mm
 
The fly is pale grey in colour with black banded patterns on wings and body.

Found this female near Kimberley Forest on Mar 2012. It was examining on some fungus.
