found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia. They are also known as Sod
Webworm.

- Body length 10mm

- This small moth is very common in Brisbane home backyards. The moth is pale
brown in colour with brown spots in its wings. We easily find them
on plants every summer night. They are also commonly found on window
glass. They are seen sometimes in winter.

- Their
larvae are commonly known as Sod Webworm or Grass Caterpillar. They
are grass-green to dark brown in colour. They live in tubular silk shelters on
the surface of the soil and feed on grasses.
