Brown Ligyra Beefly - Ligyra sinuatifascia

Body length 15mm
This is a medium size brown stout beefly. Wing patterns are reddish-brown which do not reach hide wing margin. Abdomen is yellowish-brown with grey medially.

Pictures taken in Karawatha Forest during early and mid summer. Found them quite a few time in Rocky Circuit on the sandy footpath.
 
This species is Ligyra sinuatifascia (Synonyms: L. macraspis).
