Male, body length 15mm, female

 

This Bee Fly is drak brown to black in colour with pale yellow-brown hairs. Legs are black with white hairs. There is the brown pattern on wing near the apex with powder-white tip.

 

 

This Bee Fly was found laying eggs in soil.
