- Body length 8mm, male

- Many of those flies resting on the mud of a large fallen tree root. They
were still there even many weeks later. We saw in in Karawatha Forest during early
summer.

- We did not see this beefly in any other places.

- They were usually found resting on vertical sandy mud wall.

- The reference suggested this species parasite on the mud wasp of Odynerus
(Eumeninae).
