Family Mantispidae

- Body length 12mm

- This Mantid Lacewing is small in side. Their raptorial forelegs, triangular head and
elongated pro thorax look like Preying Mantid but they have the
typical clear membranous wings. Their antennae are short and thickened.

- We found this small Mantid Lacewing in Karawatha Forest on Dec 2010.
It were flying and stopped on a Acacia plant in front of us.

- It flies away after we took a few pictures.
