Green-black Dotted Lacewing - Myiodactylus osmyloides

Body length 20mm
 
This species is common in Brisbane. They are easily distinguished by the brightly coloured pterostigma, which are different colours on the two pairs of wings.

This lacewing has grey to black eyes. The antennae are yellowish-brown. The body and legs are pale green. The pterostigma in forewings are lemon yellow-green in colours while hind-wings' are dark grey with yellow apex. The abdomen is pale green unmarked.
