Green Dung Beetle - Onthophagus tweedensis

Body length 15mm 

 

This Green Dung Beetle is dark green in colour with its wings cover dark green to almost black. 

 

 

Found the above Green Dung Beetle on a spider web in Ford Road Conservation Area, Jan 2009.

 

 

Also found this Dung Beetle in Mt Coot-tha on Mar 2010. 

 

 

Found this Dung Beetle again in Ford Road Conservation Area, Mar 2011. This time the beetle was flying and landed in-front of us. We quickly took those above photos.
