- This Crane Fly can be easily recognized by the orange prescutum with three
black confluent stripes and the dark brown wings with three separated orange
spots.

- The head is orange in colour. The rostrum is short. The prescutum is orange
with three black short confluent longitudinal stripes. Scutellum is orange.
Legs are black with orange tibiae. Abdomen is orange with black pattern.
