base. They are also known as Armoured Scale Predator.

- In the above pictures, the ladybird was found on a Citrus tree near Bulimba Creek in early
summer.

- We found this ladybird on different Citrus trees a few times. Scales
insects are very common on Citrus trees. They feed on the scales insects on
those trees.

- We found this larva once. We think this is the Red Chilocoru larva or very
close related species.

- In the above photos, the ladybird larva hunting in the meddle of a aphid
colony.
