- This Ellipsidion Cockroach has a black pattern on its orange-brown wings.
The edges of thorax and wings are clean see-though too.

- Blattellid Cockroaches of the genera Ellipsidon look very similar. Their bright orange colours
suggest membership in Muellerian mimicry
complexes.
