- Body length 10mm

- This March Fly is uniform brown in colour. Antenna and all legs are brown.
The abdomen is golden brown. Eyes are hairy, ocelli are fully developed.

- Wings veins are yellow-brown, R4 angulate with minor or trace of
appendix.

- Male has two large green eyes touching each other.

- Female look similar with white hairs on edge of thorax. There is the small
gap between eyes.
