Those Long-legged Flies in subfamily Sympycninae are relatively small in size and dull-coloured. Not much is known about their life cycle.

? Chrysotimus or Syntormon sp., body length 4mm
This fly is semi-metallic greyish-green in colour. Pictures were taken on Dec 2007, Karawatha Forest near the Lagoon.
