- The colour of this medium size Long-legged Fly is dark Metallic-brown on
greenish-blue. It front pair of legs are exceptionally long.

- The Long-legged Fly has the wing vein M branched to M1 and M2, M1arc
with elbow-shaped angle bend to apex. Vein m-cu is straight.

- We found this fly resting on large tree trunk on Sep 2008 near the Lagoon
in Karawatha Forest.
