- Aurora Bluetail
Damselflies are tiny damselflies. Males are beautifully
have the colours of the rainbow. The head and thorax are from green to yellow,
the abdomen is from yellow to orange to red. There is the bright blue at the
tip. The back of the thorax is black. The females are pale grey in colour.

- We usually find them among the thick vegetations along Bulimba Creek. They may be attracted
by windows light as well. We found a male once in our house, where is a kilometer
away from the nearest creek.
