- Dactylopius opuntiae
- In mid summer one of the Hibiscus plants in
our backyard was heavily infected by the pink soft body insects, as the above
pictures. We noticed that there were already the Mealybug
Ladybird beetles feeding on them. Then we expected the scale insect
infection problem will be fixed very soon. Yes, few weeks later, the scale
insects were down to unnoticeable level.
