Black Looper - Hyposidra talaca

This page contains pictures and information about Black Looper Caterpillars that we found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.
 
 
This Black Looper Caterpillar has only two pairs of prolegs. It is black in colour with white dots. The caterpillars was found wandering on gumtree leaves.

The moths are brown in colours with pointed wings.
